Interview and assessment

After an initial contact via mail or telephone, you will be invited for a short interview.

This is completely FREE and carries no obligations on either side.

During the interview we will assess your present level of Dutch (that can of course be zero) and ask you why you wish to take lessons. This may seem an obvious question but it will help us to assess your needs. Maybe, you just want to learn to survive in the street and shops, or maybe you're puzzled by Dutch official forms, banking, or medical services. You may wish to make Dutch friends, or be able to feel more comfortable if you go to their houses, (Dutch birthday parties for instance, can seem a little strange). You may find it impossible to understand people on the telephone, or in a noisy bar or restaurant. There are countless reasons why people wish to learn Dutch, or improve on what they already know.

Through informal individual sessions, or in small groups, we can help you achieve your goals without the pain and stress of a classroom situation. You can progress at your own pace and measure your progress through a series of easy tasks we will set you.
